New Work by Sonja Norwood

Sonja Norwood’s new photographs range in perspective from close studies of California flora and fauna to wide angle images documenting streetside neighborhood activity. The series as a whole reflects the diversity of Sonja’s personal landscape, from her trips to the countryside of Mendocino with her husband and mother to a visit to the local Latin Market in the Excelsior neighborhood of San Francisco. A long-time employee of Xerox, Sonja is also celebrating her retirement in conjunction with her artist’s reception.
Sonja Norwood and her husband, Robert, are good friends of Mamá Art Cafe having been faithful customers and dedicated fans during the four years. Sonja has attended countless cultural events, always considerate to invite her friends and local residents to support us. Often fellow Mamá Art Café patrons receive complimentary photographs she has captured of them at “Mamá” events. We are pleased to organize this exhibition for a dedicated customer and appreciate her support.
